1. What is CenuKa?

CenuKa is a mobile application that provides online loan services to eligible users in Uganda. It offers credit risk assessment, loan approval and disbursement, loan account management, payment processing, and repayment reminders.

2. Who is eligible to use CenuKa?

To use CenuKa, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Reside in Uganda
  • Have a valid mobile phone number and a compatible device
3. Is CenuKa available in other countries besides Uganda?

Currently, CenuKa only offers services to users in Uganda.

4. How do I register for a CenuKa account?

To register for a CenuKa account, download the CenuKa mobile application from the App Store or Google Play Store, then follow the on-screen instructions to create your account by providing the required information.

5. What information do I need to provide during registration?

Account registration only requires a mobile phone number. You can complete the registration process by providing your mobile phone number and verifying it through the verification code sent to you.

6. Can I change my account information after registration?

We currently do not support changing personal account information.

7. What should I do if I forget my account password?

If you forget your account password, use the "Forgot Password" feature in the CenuKa application to reset it. You will receive instructions via SMS to your registered mobile number.

8. Can I close my CenuKa account?

Yes, you can close your CenuKa account at any time by contacting customer support. Please note that you must repay any outstanding loans before closing your account.

9. How do I apply for a loan with CenuKa?

To apply for a loan:

  1. Log in to your CenuKa account
  2. Provide the required personal information (name, date of birth, gender, educational background, email address, national identification card number, emergency contact information, etc.). After risk assessment, your loan limit will be provided
  3. Select the loan amount and repayment period
  4. Submit your application
10. How long does it take to get a loan approval?

CenuKa aims to process loan applications as quickly as possible. In most cases, you will receive a decision within minutes of submitting your application.
